"Hadar Orshalimy has a friendly and expressive voice, and her interpretations are straightforward, doing justice to the lyrics and the melody while also swinging.  Witchcraft serves the dual purpose of putting the focus on female Jewish songwriters and the appealing voice of Hadar Orshalimy"

- Scott Yanow, LA Jazz Scene

"In Witchcraft, the New York City-based musician has pulled together some timeless chestnuts and adds her smoky, rich voice in an important collection. ..Not only a grouping of some of our most adored tunes, but an important honoring of Jewish women in this beloved body of work"

-Debbie Burke, Jazz Author

"Armed with a smoky, rich contralto voice, Hadar proceeds to interpret time-honored classics...With Hadar lending her unique vocal approach to beautiful songs that will last forever, Witchcraft is more than a homage to the Jewish women composers of classics, it is also a tribute to herself, an elegant Jewish singer with a great deal of spirit to match"

- Ed Blanco, All About Jazz

“Hadar is so multifaceted. This is the fourth project I've used a song of hers on and each one is different in its own beautiful way.”

- Ben Ketai, Creator & director "Startup" and "The River Wild" (Netflix)

"Brilliant concept, perfectly executed. Kodus and huzzah!!! If you ever come to Boston we'll be front row!!!"

 - Gary Wolf, Creator of Roger Rabbit

“Hadar’s performances of classics from the Great American Songbook, accompanied by a top-shelf jazz quartet are stellar in every way.  Can’t wait for the next one!"
